My entry to the contest for the movie Venom. Really excited for the movie and have a lot of fun with this piece.ΒGotta say though I'm a little mad with the results, hate when the jury ignores the criteria and rules they established

Thanks! glad you like it, well the contestΒ specificallyΒ requested "showΒ us the best battle scene you can capture" between Venom and Riot, yet from the 10 selected pieces, only 4 show both characters, and from this 4, only one of them depicts a battle. Also the rules stated to avoid the likeness of the actors, however 3 of the slected ones show Tom Hardy's face clearly.
I don'tΒ really like to complain, and even with a fair jury, chances of winning were pretty slim, as there were other great entries, but it really feels like a handicap to follow the rules, wasting time and effort trying to think of a good battle scene, and focusing in 2 characters while I could have done a closer and better detailed Venom (more time and more space to add details)

it's not the Venom who was suppose to be, no one talks about or not many people know but there was no Eddie Brock when the creator of Venom made it Venom, Venom main host was actually female but but a stupid guy came and force him to change it into a male because he thinks a female can't be a treat for a Spiderman...what a big asshole sexist! And I bet that many other Spiderman villains could had been females instead if weren't sexist people like this one! But no one talks about that but complains like a cry baby when now a female replace a male character who, who knows maybe it was suppose to be female in the first place but we will never know but the Venom thing is for sure!
Venom was originally supposed to be a pregnant woman whose husband was killed in an automobile accident because the driver was distracted by Spider-Man. To add to the misery, the husband was flattened right in front of her. The shock forced her into labor, and she lost her baby, and her mind, in the process. The symbiote would find her in her grief and bond with her and the two would seek revenge against Spider-Man. While a misguided motivation, at least it wasn't because her misery was caused by her own actions as Brock's was. She was a true victim and hadn't done anything wrong except being in the wrong place at the wrong time. And since Spider-Man has historically had very few female villains of any lasting merit, this could have been a definite change from the ordinary.
But Spider-Editor Jim Salicrup did not believe that the audience would accept a woman as a viable physical threat to Spider-Man, even one enhanced by an alien symbiote.

Where the hell do you get that, have you read comics at least, always the bearer of venom has been a man and never thought of doing that, I can say with the only fact that spiderman is for young people and children, therefore it is too hardcore for a reader of an age between 10 and 16 years old, for sure it was some invention that you saw on the internet or something, and yes, I accept that it is not the venom that many wanted, but I'm sure everyone will get used to it, personally I liked how they adapted it, as an extra fact, nobody has ever forced Steve Ditko or Stan Lee, because they are worth the redundancy, several times they have been asked to do things that would change the plot one they have done , and they go hand in hand with David Michelinie and Todd McFarlane who never mentioned a venom sex change. Sorry for this long message but I had to enlighten you a bit, I know you will offend even more, and send another bible, so I say goodbye with this list that you should look for with the added "marvel" in google: Black Cat, Silver Sable , Scream, Agony,
