As suggested by here is the latest in the Color Spectrum series, Axel... or Lea if you prefer
Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, Axel's debut game, came out in 2004 in Japan and North America. So in keeping with the attempted historical accuracy, Axel is showcasing fashions inspired by the styles of the early 2000's.

He looks great in all of these...but oddly enough the yellow outfit both makes him look younger and look more like his somebody, Lea. Was that intended?

Yes it was intended. The first one and the last one are both "Lea" - the black outfit is his DDD appearance, the yellow his BBS appearance. The middle two are "Axel"

Okay. I'm actually fascinated with Lea and whatever Larxene's somebody ends up being since Lea and Axel are very close in personality and Larxene's somebody is fascinating because we know nothing about her though I'm hoping she's something like Arcticwaters' portrayal of Larxene in her "Kingdom Hearts" AU stuff: somewhat violent, short-tempered and sassy but nice enough once she gets to know you.

Yeah; me too. Since Lea was a major player in "Dream Drop Distance" (despite it apparently being a major mind screw)so maybe we'll see their somebodies next game. I just kinda want Larxene's because Arcticwaters made Larxel ridiculously adorable.

Yeah; it's what called a Portmanteau couple name. They're common in Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy.

Wow, cool outfits, I love the one of young Lea. Wait, young Lea had eye paint too? I notice the first one doesn't have eye paint, is that supposed to be the Lea from 3D?
By the way, you call him Demyx once in the description.

Hmm, I think with Kid Lea, it's the concept art, rather then game model, that has the eye paint on it. So it make sense why he has it here.
