As requested by here is the latest addition to the Color Spectrum series, Beast/Adam.Like Belle, I treid to give Adam historically accurate outfits to showcase. Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve published Beauty and the Beast in 1740 in La Jeune AmΓ©ricaine, et les Contes Marins, and thus these outfits are based on the fashions of the 1740's.

Cool picture. Nice to use both Beast and his human form. I think the Beast looks good in Green, while his human form is pretty neat in Purple.
You know, hearing 'Prince Adam' I can't help but think of the other Prince Adam, of Eternia. Now I can't help think of this Prince Adam going around with the Sword of Grayskull, and instead of turning into He-Man, he turned into the Beast, but wearing He-Man's outfit.

Hah, glad you like the idea then. I love planting silly ideas in people's heads. We could call him He-Beast.
Oh, I can see it now. Belle is Teela perhaps? Gaston as Skeletor. Maurice is Man-At-Arms (good with Gizmos, is Teela's father), and the Sorceress fits well with the Enchantress. Lumier is Mecha-Necks? Cogsworth is Stratos? Mrs. Pots as Ram-Man? The problem is Skeletor's crew, not many villains from the film to fill the many roles like Evilyn, Trap-Jaw, Tri-clops, Beast Man, Merman, etc.
Oh, and then there is She-Ra. Perhaps she could be Aurora. Adora/Aurora for starters, they also kind of look alike. That could make Maleficent Hordak. Hordak was always so much more bad ass than Skeletor anyway. Oh I could go on, but I realize if you've never followed She-Ra or He-Man, it might go way over your head.

actually Adam is a fan made name and isn't official. In the actual making of the movie he's only known as "Master", "Beast" and "Prince"

Adam has actually been adopted by Disney for use on some of it's Disney Prince/Princess merchandise (like an old PC game called The D Show), so it does kind of have a canonical foothold, although it's still not technically his name.Β

Like I said and acknowledged, it's not technically his name since he was never developed as having one, but Disney keeps (potentially mistakenly) using it on merchandise, so it does have a canonical foothold however slim. Since it's so widely accepted I used it here.Β

But it kind of was, for SOME of it's merchandise, not all. They used it on some merch, that much is true. Since it was apparently a fan created name, they technically adopted it for that merchandise, albeit temporarily.Β

but it mentions in that video about it being mistakes on the creator of the merchandise and not actual Disney. I can't explain so why are you arguing. The video explains it all. as well as the part 2 video.

In the end it doesn't really matter since Disney apparently doesn't care what people think his name is. They've never said boo about it other than approving of outsourced material using Adam, so clearly they don't really care what we call him. I personally prefer him to have some kind of name, which is why I use Adam (as a place holder until they officially give him a name, if they ever do) whether it is fan created/incorrectly created via outsourced materials because calling a human guy Beast is a little odd. If his name was Beast the whole time then he was one unfortunate guy and his parents would suck for giving him a self-fulfilling prophecy of a name (wouldn't you act out a little bit if you name was literally Beast? Doesn't it imply that your parents had low opinions of you?). And we already have two characters that are pretty much just called "Prince" or "the Prince," true one has "Charming" after it, but it's essentially the same thing, a pretty much nameless dude. Do we really need a 3rd nameless Prince? Everyone knows him as the Beast regardless of what form he is in, so what does it really matter what we call him as his human name? I personally prefer Prince Tyrone because it's kind of awesome to me (in the commentary portion of that video you linked) but since the original outsourced name given was Adam and it's been adopted by the fandom, then that is what I will use for when he is not a Beast until he is eventually given an official name.Β
