Continuing my Keroro pics, this one is of Giroro. I made it as a reminder of the pain of a soldier on a battlefield, how hard it is when your comrades die around you, and there seems to be no end to it until you are alone. The setting was inspired by World War II images I have seen, and to be honest, it was actually quite hard to colour this one because of the mood it gave out.This scene might be from the time when Keron was in war. Showing that even that calm looking planet can have its darker side in memory.

so what if its "old" work? it is still very touching, and gorgeous, and im going to start acting sappy if I say any more, but still! I hope I got my point accross.the only protest I have to old work was that it wasn't uploaded sooner!

Personally I find the hat lying in the foreground very sad ;_; Even such a small thing adds a lot to the overall atmosphere of a picture.
It makes me want to hug Giroro when I look at this. (.... *goes and hugs her Giroro plushy* Ok, feeling better. ^^")

The hat was a detail I realized would had to be added since, well, when I drew this I remembered one scene from the old black-and-white movie of Unknown Soldier (Tuntematon Sotilas in Finnish), where a young soldier got head-shot by the enemy. So the hat is kind of personal homage to that movie, although a very small one.
