What brush did you use? I can't pull it off with my current brush ^^'

it's a simple round brush with 80% softness I think ^^

few questions, do you just erase the lineart? and how do you find the base color?

Sellenin In reply to faitavecvous [2016-10-03 08:01:30 +0000 UTC]

I color the lineart (I make a new layer atop of the lineart. Create a mask with ctrl+shift+g. Then paint that layer with whatever color I need.) Usually I eyeball the base skin color, but sometimes I look up skin color palettes.

Color lineart....I fear that sounds a bit more complicated than it implies. And rendering?

You make a new layer atop of the lineart. Create a mask with ctrl+shift+g. Then paint that layer with whatever color u need. and then merge them. And rendering is just adding details.

Fat-Hades In reply to Sellenin [2016-01-22 22:07:11 +0000 UTC]

Lighed skin is too yellow, and the shading is wrong, could use some more shadows

it's a preference of style, just because it's not realistic doesn't make it wrong
