I know a lot of words ( well, I can't spell most of them..)
I don't know how to structure sentences though.
But I know hiragana. I self taught myself.

I could help you. here are some tips to start ya off.
1. The subject once it's said in a sentence it's not said again in the same sentence.
2. Unless your talking about yourself you have to specify the subject.
3. the particle 'wa' specifies the subject. 'desu' is the linking/action verb in most basic japanese sentences. The particle 'ka' is used for specifying whether a sentence is a question.
4. The action/linking verb goes at the end of a japanese sentence.
Example: Watashi(wa) hito desu.

5. The particle 'wa' when written is written as 'ha' when being used as a particle but when being used in a word it's just written as 'wa'

But anyways what #5 means is that if you right a sentence in japanese the hiragana symbol for 'wa' when used as a particle is written as 'ha'.... Don't ask me why is that because the japanese doesn't know the reason themselves, anymore.
