Description
She walks through the crowded room,Shimmering in silk and satin
At glowing contrast
To the white roses lining the room.
--The ease of her prowl,
The stalk of her prey
Effortless as a cat—
He slowly walks towards her ring,
Knowing looks fan the faces
Surrounding her flowery body.
--Her scent makes bodies limp
Their growing need apparent—
The soft champagne in her glass
Floats through parted lips.
Tongue, slow and suggestive to tease,
Graces bold red lips.
--He takes her glass,
Pulls her aside
The race is on
As he glides—
Next a salsa,
Sultry and sensual;
Her body wraps around his—
Hers strong and pressing,
His taught and needy—
Her hair flows,
Her eyes melt,
The colour of honey,
Her soft body a gentle summer breeze,
Cooled by the beach.
His head held high,
His gaze intense,
His arms controlling,
His body stern and demanding,
Powered by the obsession.
The red of her dress
Imitated in the passion
Suggested by potent features.
A stand still in time
As she wraps her skilled body
Around his unyielding one.
The tempo of the quick salsa melts
Into a silky tango.
Two lovers
Engaged in passion.
Two bodies become one;
The dance moves on.
The red of her gown
Exuding blinding passion.
The tanned skin of his bare arms
Usher her closer.
Then the music stops…
Their bodies entangled with each other,
Their slow pants of exertion
Their lost by the passion—
Their overpowering lust.

Total agreement with the above, and still appropriate when you remind the reader that they're DANCING

Somehow i knew this piece had little or nothing to do with love.
That's why it was a victory for me when at the end you called it "Their overpowering lust" and not "their overpowering love"

yes well...I didn't see it as love, because it wasn't a complete feeling, it was just...I don't know, perhaps I saw it in the music. When I was writing the majority of this piece I was listening to salsa.
