Description
In passing,a hundred or more
years of footprints
written and erased,
written and erased.
The paths of futures
yet to come,
the stairs of ancients
pass to come.
Money passes hands
tracing footprints
in the sand.
Ocean tides wave
rolling over past
carrying the new
to touch
what has been touched
a thousand times
or more,
seen with more eyes
than people on the land.
Carefully arranged
in parade
spectacles placed on stands
a hundred or more
years in passing...

I'd consider the best part of this poem being how well weaved and integrated the true messege is. I could show this to my poetry teacher without the comment revealing the messege and she probably would re-read it several times before understanding. In fact, I'm going to do that.
