Description
My existence lingers between fine, printed pages,Concealed and secure in the imagination of another,
Picking away at their plots, as if they were my own,
Attempting to absorb every word beyond my comprehension.
My reflection bores me still, appearing insipid in my eyes,
I am beautiful, because I am resilient, intelligent and capable,
Not because you find the formation of my flesh and bone appealing.
Find your own beauty, like your find your way in the dark.
Scrawl on yourself the words that hold significance,
Maybe then, you won't forget your own principles,
And slip into the cesspit with the rest of your so called example,
And slip into something a little more comfortable,
For the remainder of the evening.

I wish more people could think the way you did. Then the world would be a much better place. Lovely writing.

Excellently written....
"I am beautiful, because I am resilient, intelligent and capable,
Not because you find the formation of my flesh and bone appealing."
Love that bit especially.
