This shot is just amazing. The color is sooo rich and beautiful. Not to mention, you added this shot to your gallery on my birthday of last year. In October in the US, the leaves are falling out of the trees where I live, and everything is dying. It's earth begins to prepare for snow. I always thought is such a fowl time to have been born, seeing as I love spring the most. But, it's a tad bit reassuring that somewhere else from where I was at, there were blooming flowers. It puts a new perspective on things, one I wouldn't have gained before.
