"Ned Stark thought of pale blue roses and for a moment he wanted to weep."I don't normally draw R+L (the pairing just doesn't interest me much), but this quote kept knocking around in my head and I HAD to get it down on paper before it drove me crazy. Originally it was supposed to be just Lyanna, but then Rhaegar appeared in there somewhere between the rough drafts, that sneaky little dragonprince ; )
Trying out watercolours again, hopefully with better results as I keep trying.

Erm, I don't even know what you're trying to accomplish here with your comments on my drawings??? If you don't like what I like draw, please feel free to not look at my art...there are plenty of talented artists out there who cater to the My Little Pony fandom rather than the ASoIaF fandom, and I'm sure you'll satisfy yourself there. You don't have to waste your time berating artists like me for not catering to your ships and fandoms.
And FYI, Elia Martell is by far and away my favourite character in ASoIaF, and Rhaegar one of my least favourite, so it's not even like me drawing this pairing is endorsing what Rhaegar did or whatever...still not sure what you're trying to accomplish here...

You've got a good point there, I shouldn't whine at you for drawing what you like. I mean, that's what art is, it comes from within the artist, not from requests and satisfying critics like me.
I apologize for making a fuss and berating you; I just so wish that someone of your talent would draw something from The King's Shadow (a book that basically only I have ever heard of) so I kind of get sad when the other medieval fantasy books get the talented artists. I like your drawing style, and I so very much want to see what Evyn would look like in it.
But, you know what, that doesn't make it okay for me to get snippy at you for drawing what you like.
