Patchwork was born in Manehatten where her mother stayed while her father worked with Queen Twilight Sparkle, but visted as often as he could seeing as he truly loved Coco and his baby girl. At first Patchy didn't have her wings just weird nubs on her shoulder, but as she got older the nubs slowly turned into large wings, shocking her parents. Patchwork decided to help her mother at work seeing as she was often bullied for being different, this is where she met her best friend Marble Bolt. As time passed and the two got older they began to practically run Rarity's shop.
Marble Bolt began to decide he wants to go to Ponyville and take over his mom's old shop and decided he wanted Patchy to come work with him, to which she gladly accepted.
