It's refreshing to see artists draw Lisa in a not-so-provocative way. They both look nice in their own way. Perhaps Lisa could be Roxanne's tough and quirky friend if they tried getting along x'D

Thank you so much!!
I could see Max and Bradley becoming "friemies" but I think Lisa and Roxanne would just end up in a hair fight lol. You think Max hates Brad? Roxanne acts more angry with her.

I keep thinking that Roxanne in-movie wouldn't be able to do much to defend herself; the Roxanne in the comic version could engage in some fight, if pushed too far x'D (It would probably scare Max and make him rethink any possible confrontation with her lol)

lol XD poor dude
After seeing Roxanne's dad, I don't think Max has to worry about approaching girls the wrong way. He seems to have too much respect for Roxanne and wouldn't want to do anything to offend her.

He's already pretty awkward (didn't stop him from being a pathological liar as per usual in the series and movies x'D) But yes he's pretty respectful towards her from what the movie shows

When I saw him in AEGM where he was trying to escape the library and Goofy asked where he was going and Max said "Uh, I'm helping you get your own library card, dad" I was like "Max, have you not learned from the first movie?" What's sad is that he's horrible at lying.
But that makes me think, what would happen if Max actually told her the truth? And now that I think about it, Max kinda did tell her the truth in the begnning because he said his father was taking him somewhere but then added the lie when she was getting ready to leave. What would have been smart if during the principal office scene is that they exchanged numbers. But know knows, he probably didn't have a phone (a little 1990's cell phone).

Max should've told Goofy that he was in love lol it's a normal thing I think x'D And his dad understands despite his clinginess
Although I have to say I relate to Max, at least in the first movie.. >_>

Max actually did tell Goofy before hand about liking Roxanne but Goofy cut him off. When Max told Goofy he wanted to go to a party and he was getting ready to tell about but Goofy said he'll go to parties when he's older lol
But looking at the situation with Goofy, and how high-schoolers were clowning him for his dad, kinda makes sense why he didn't want him to get in the way. And Max seems to be more embarrassed about Goofy's behavior when it comes to it being displayed in front of people vs when he's just with his father.

That's true.. It just really bugs me that the sequel forgets that they learned valuable lessons which they should be reminded of whenever situations occur xP

I think Max for the first movie, it had more to do with Max being embarrassed about people bullying his father (which they were) and not being able to get with Roxanne.
And to top it off from what it looks like, P.J. and Bobby were his only friends while basically the whole school hated him. However in AEGM, I think Max saw college as an opportunity to not be bullied for the same thing he's been bullied for years and now it's gone back to haunt him again. But he forgot to take it into consideration from Goofy's perspective so I can understand from both sides. And Max seemed to understand the whole being fired situation due to him more focusing on losing Max and everything. Something tells me it was something that set Max off. Obviously him losing and everything but it seemed to be a little bit more than that. He started off college with a whole class of people laughing but then when his father joins him in the X Games, now everyone has somewhat respect for his dad but 0 for Max. So that's probably why. I still feel bad for Goofy, though.

The Max in the sequel I have very little sympathy for; he literally caused the problem in having his dad become more popular by convincing him to join the Gammas

What really made me mad was how P.J. and Bobby handled it.
In the beginning why was Bobby all like "Is it me, or does that guy look like your dad?" and was smiling after that. Like no kidding that's his dad. And then the professor was kinda rude to Goofy too. And one thing I noticed is that even before Max found out Bradley's team was cheating, he was already questioning what Brad do to his dad and looked so mad finding out Brad dropped his dad from the team that he legit looked like he was ready to punch Brad. What would have been smarter for Max to do was instead of having Goofy join the Gammas, let him watch the games in the crowd. He would have been out Max's way easier.

Max needs to work on his communication skills to let Goofy down easy and also make it clear to him that he cares for him all the same

That's true. I also think because of the lost of Max's mom, is the reason of miscommunication. I think Max even as a teen still couldn't handle losing his mom but pretends it doesn't bother him that much and Goofy deals with pain by looking at life in a positive way and then plus Max being bullied makes him look at life bad. And in some ways it's fair for him to say the world hates him considering the fact that 1: from Goof Troop to AGM to AEGM: Max only had 2 friends and 2: not only gets bullies from kids but adults too like Pete. And what's worse is that that's his friend's dad bullying him and would tell him to stay away. Not to mention Goofy is kinda also one of the big reasons why Max is bullied. Of course unintentionally from Goofy's part.
I honestly think Pete needs to get himself together.

That's a legitimate possibility even if Max might have been real young when he lost her (he seemed pretty flexible in wanting to set up his dad with his teacher). I can understand Goofy being positive too to cope..
Pete made the Goof Troop series oddly decent (and PJ with his infectious sarcasm and practicality)

And not to mention that on the whole, Goofy and Max seemed to get a long fine for the most part; its when Goofy's acting overly protective and like his name "Goofy" is where Max has a problem. So I think as long as Max express himself properly and Goofy doesn't act too crazy; they seem fine. And that principal in AGM was so rude to Goofy. What principal threaten a student to their parents on the phone? No wonder why Max was so angry in AGM, he had enough. And I bet when he was on stage and Principal Mazar fell into the trap door was to get back at him for threatening him into detention all for accidentally bumping into to him in the song After Today lol XD
Oh yeah, P.J. sure did used to be the sarcastic one. When teen years hit, it seemed to be the reverse. lol I forgot all about that.

If only they learn their lessons o.o'
I always had the theory that Max (mainly) and his friends tended to get on Mazur's bad side for just being teenagers with their "rebellious ways". That stunt on stage was the last straw methinks xP
Heh heh xD

I think Bobby would be more on the prank side and Max tried to warn him but ends up getting caught him. He's like one of those friends that get you in trouble even though it was just that one person being dumb if that makes sense lol Max doesn't seem like the one to start trouble but will get caught in it by accident and P.J....P.J. just wants friends XD like after him talking about how mad his father was gonna be for him getting in trouble, I doubt he wanted to start trouble. I swear, Bobby is like that laid-back funny dude that'll be funny act the worst of moments lol but at the same time after looking at all the fake friends Max gain after his Powerline performamce, he's better off with P.J. and Bobby because despite the trouble, they treat each other like brothers and have a much better relationship.
I just can't believe Bobby was that bold to open the trap door on him. But hey, that principal had it coming. Notice how that secretary lady he had in his office wasn't even mad at the boys for what they did. She probably thought it was hysterical XD Max's high school is interesting lol

Mazur seems the type to make a mountain out of a molehill anyway; the secretary's reaction makes sense
Bobby would have the crazier ideas for sure; in trying to get Roxanne's attention Max has done some crazy things (the Powerline performance was the culmination of his efforts). I don't think Max regarded the other students as his friends afterwards, but the moment did feed his teenage age ego / status..

Yeah, once he gain popularity he probably didn't even care because to him it was like mission accomplish lol and when I think about the song "After Today" he seem to had enough with the nonsense of being bullied every single day; especially for his dad. And that secretary was probably laughing. She seem like the time to act angry in front of the principal but once he's gone, she's all chill. His secretary got to be the most chillest staff ever. I can see Max talking to her a lot.

I still can't believe he said that though. I was like "Max? Really though?" That had to be the most worst attemp to lie ever; but then again, if he's that bad at lying he must be more used to telling the truth-which he should do more often.

What made me laugh was how when Goofy tried to guilt-trip him into going on the vacation when he "Well, I'll just have to go all alone" and Max straight up said "Well, I guess so". I straight up laugh because it was soo wrong but funny. Looks like we know where the terrible at pretending came from. Like father, like son lol XD

lol when it comes to looks Max for sure gets most of it from his dad but when it comes to personality, you can tell he gets most of it from his mom. Where else did he learn those quick-witted remarks? But then again, he hung around Pete... that Pete again lol *sighs*

And what's sad is that he would do that too
I don't even consider him a villain, just a messy neighbor that loves spilling tea and watching chaos happen XD I always wondered, is Pete still neighbors with Max? In Goof Troop, he obviously was but in AGM and even in AEGM, that's a bit of a mystery. But the real question is when if Goofy gonna stop hanging around him? He's shown 0 respect for the family and especially his son. And it wouldn't suprised me if Pete is responsible for the chaos between Max and Goofy; it honestly wouldn't.
