Nope. I intend to re-install them with something hooked up to them, but the challenge is to do so without hurting the tree or having exposed wires. Plus power is an issue...

I don't know much about circuitry n whatnot....

but you could always hook it up to a counter or something, in the name of SCIENCE.

Either that or a ridiculously loud car horn, but that might be a public disturbance, as hilarious as it sounds.

LOL. The horn would be awesome. I'd have to have a video camera nearby to record it.

I like the idea of the counter--they sell mechanical tally counters; maybe I could somehow imbed one of those in the tree. Then it'll keep track of how many people push the button, haha.
