Description A poster for a play at school by a spanish troupe. Left side has rougher skin and flames for his destructive/agrressive nature, right side has a heart and tears for his lack of understanding of man's society and emotions. Made from scratch from a reference photo everything is by me except for the brushes, which are given credit for on the poster, and here too:

Brushes: AngryBlue, JS, Pretty Brush, Truly-Sarah

The image iteslef is something like 1.35 megs, so I advise if you haven't got all afternoon, to view the preview. However, if you're curious, you can see real close up too.

I chose the black and white rendition because it meant that firstly I only had to use 3 tones in the vector layers, and secondly because Boris Karloff's performance as "The Monster" has bceome somewhat iconic.

Got up at 4:30 today, so I'll be in bed ASAP.

I tend to stick to that one, if I need others I search for ages and find a specific source for that one which will differ from each task. Usually off dafont to be honest

That is some nice work. I really like the colors. I am amazed at how well you picked up the pen tool.

Frankenstein looks great. Really nice job on him. Actually I like everything but the red part of the background. The brush or texture used on it looks like crumpled paper, which doesn't seem to fit the image.

Same as zimm eh? Thanks. Victor Frankenstein is the monster's creator, the fellow pictured is simply refered to as "the monster".

Thank you *ecnerefretnI . Reverse the name to see who I'm thanking! Fun for all!

I hadn't seen zimm's comment, but I do agree in a way. I don't think that the red in the background needs to be eliminated. I just don't feel that the texture is working.

I stand corrected. 'The monster' looks great. Actually, the more I look at him the more I like him.
