There are a number of meanings to different parts of the piece, but I think I'd like to hear what people think they might be to different places, before I post the meanings.... my favourite bit is the man with the scissors and hands, on his own little cloud... a bit clever that one...
Anyway, I like to enlarge on the less depressing aspects of life, and if I do dabble with the less pleasant aspects, I try to make it fun and colourful all the same... I don't really dig grunge... I like to make things happy and cartoony...less of me, more of you... comments please!

Revelation time... however your guesses have proved to be better!
The largest one near the front:
A very violent outlook on life (the "signpost" is meant to be military ranky stripes), but being angry and agressive only ever damages himself, the puzzle pieces siymbolise that he's missing some vital things in life.
The man isolated on his little cloud (personal favourite):
Feels like he has to join the rest, and is constantly pushed by others opinions and views (hands), he feels the only way he can stop the constant pressure from them is to slit his throat(not specific, generally end it all) (the dotted line shows that he cannot cut off the hands without cutting off his own head at the same time)
The "x" shows that he is void, all his thoughts are others', his life is directed my the masses.
Man in the distance:
The "?" means he doesn't know what to look for - no goals or aims, generally puzzled by life, finds it pointless. He wanders away from other people, eventually only able to see the noose and revolver, meaning he can't think of anything but suicide - he has nowhere and noone to go to.
Stairway man:
Probably the mostly poorly portrayed, and the most confusing, sorry.
The ribbon and crown were only added at the end in an effort to make it more clear, but unsuccesfully.
His thought/speech bubble has nature images, which suggest peacefulness and natural contentment - he doesn't have a problem with anyone, and is interested in others welfare instead of his own (nature again). He's the only one who is able to enjoy life more (stairway upwards), and gets the most out of life (award and crown), he's the "winner", has made the most achievement.
Sorry, the last one wqas really lousily portrayed.

Is that a stairway to heaven? This is very nice...very fresh. It reminds me of my logo for my t-shirt bizz...the international man & woman symbols with a rainbow behind it.

Not as close as Derek's, but again good stuff... homosexuality wasn't intended, but I can see perhaps where you got the idea from. The heaven is interesting because it kind of is, kind of isn't.

i kind of like the soldier looking guy who's been blown to smithereens cause his country made him fight an enemy that he didn't have..........
there's alot of depressing stuff in here.....colourfull or not, this is a very depressing image...
suicide, homosexualness, war, loneliness, and it's all to be enveloped in the cloud of the mystic heaven right???
cause in heaven, we'll all be equal, and our torment will be forgotten
anyway, those are my thoughts

first impression: very unique and cool and happy
after a closer look: very uniqe and cool and not so happy
analysis: the big main guy is trying to find himself and put the pieces of life together (puzzle pieces, road sign on his arm), he feels like he is marked by the world and everybody is trying to bring him down (target).
the guy on the small cloud in the middle is cutting something out of his life, hence, he is alone.
the guy with the noose wants to hang himself and is considering if he shoudl because he things that people are pointing guns at him (metaphorically speaking)
the king guy, he has won an award and is going to heaven and thinking of all the pretty things in life (terrible analysis on this one, had no idea about him)
so, this is really a cool piece. not sure about the cloud overtop of the gun though. besides that, awesome piece. cool stuff.
you have such a distinct style which is something i wish i could develop.
