It has been years since I played Spore it was so silly and addicting, still is.
Well anyway, a friend of mine showed my a link to a video of the Game Grumps playing Spore.... It's fucking ridiculous I can't believe I laughed. 
well itΒ got me in the mood and decided to download Spore and play it again. Barracruel is a fish-like alien that lives in both land and water but spends most of its time out of the water but doesn't stray far from it. They're carnivores and hunt in packs (5-9 member) hunting small to medium sized prey, however they're not the most successful hunters so most of the time they steal or scavenge food. They're kind of like Hyena.
It was fun playing with the creation feature and I'll make and share more with ya. I plan on making some Tremors creations and redo the old Living Aircraft spore creatures too.

Ah yes, I remember watching the Game Grumps playing Spore...and I remember two things:
1) Facepalming at their obsession with phallic creatures.Β I mean I get it, we've all done that at some point, but seriously, I'd be more interested in seeing them be legitimately creative with what they're doing.
2) Facepalming again at how much they suck at playing the game as a whole (and how they don't search bone piles for parts and the like).Β The only time I facepalmed harder at their incompetence was when I watched their Super Metroid playthrough (which at times was painful to watch because they were that bad).

Agreed.Β It got old after a couple of episodes.
