Another image inspired by recent events in my country. I was watching a local TV station the other day, and they had a camera fixed on the city of Beirut, airing live. It was about 3am. I was lost in my thoughts, when suddenly, I saw a bomb falling on Beirut (through the TV), and it just flashed. Three seconds later, I actually heard the shockwave arriving to my house, which was really loud..And it was then when it hit me... I am actually watching my city falling... Live...
Trust me, if you're not living it, its a heartbreaker... So i just had to create something to express the sadness I am feeling right now...
and here it is... a kid watchign the bombs falling on his favorite city...

There is a View of Beirut from my Balcony...when there was war, I used to sit there and watch the bombs falling live..then hear the sound after some seconds..

During walks around my own city in Canada, I have thought about the exact situation you must be experiencing quiet a bit since the invasion of Lebanon (I donno why, but this invasion just seems to stick out alot more than any others going on there now.). The panic of my city being all out destroyed. Remember the first rule to survival: Don't panic.

The thing is that we are not panicing, we are used to all this... thats what a lebanese person is good at... getting used to war..but we are sad... just like the kid inthe picture, we are calm, but very heartbroken.

I dont think that I have seen this side of you work before. Its done very well. I hope that when this is all over that the nations of the world will come together and rebuild you country. That is something I would not mind seeing my tax dallors go for. Again stay safe my freind.
