Description
On this note. I am very anti-neutering. I'm not looking for an argument though, so don't bother flaming me.I was inspired by this:[link]
I know it is almost the same, but it was to perfect to change much. ^^' Sorry for anyone who doesn't like that.
EDIT;; Ya, it was 11:00 at night when I did this. Sorry for spelling mistakes. ^^' I'm to lazy to fix it right now.

I agree with it mostly. ( IK I AM LATE)
but mandorty neutering i am on the fence about it kind of thing. Yes i people should be able to breed dogs i understand but theres so many dumb stupid people who breed dogs for money and they have health problems. I feel like if you breed a dog be respoble. and not use it for money. Breeders should be able to breed their dogs but not stupid people looking for money and dont care about the breed or the dogs.
Breeders should be able to breed and people who care about the dog.
But also no idoit should go hey i need some money let me breed a litter pits and selling 250$ and not worry about health etc.
I guess i am on the fence. I think it depends case by case kind of thing just like leash laws.

Ok I'm not trying to start a fight I'm just going to say my opinion...
So first off about that quote, I think he was trying to say that he was not worried about it and that it wasn't really a problem. Second aren't they against breed bans? Third neuter laws are really nessescary..sure, there are certainly responsible breeders out there, but sadly there are more irresponsible ones ever hear about puppy mills? Perfect example. It also leads to a lot of stray animals who get put in shelters and that's never good
because the animals who aren't neutered run off and get preggers/make someone preggers and then you have more unwanted or stray animals. What is the artibrary legislation? Sorry if I sound mean or if I'm like bashing on your picture
it's nice I just don't agree with the message

Yeah, I was really young when I made this and I never really did any research or anything on the quote; I just happened to see this on a site and liked it enough to make my own version. I honestly had to go back and look at this before I could properly reply to this. x)
1) I've gathered through the years that this quote was taken out of context.
2) Yes [www.humanesociety.org/issues/b… and no [www.lovedoesnotdiscriminate.co… . While they do oppose breed bans, they are more than happy to require neutering of specific breeds which may or may not bother you. It's still discrimination no matter how you slice it.
3) I don't think any form of mandatory neuter is necessary as there are viable alternatives to neutering. That's not to say that I'm against neutering, however, if you are a responsible pet owner, you can stop your pets from procreating. Is it work? Yes, of course. Now I do think that if you're not going to watch your pet or you're going to let it go roam around or otherwise let it get in to positions where it can procreate, neutering is your best option. For those who are diligent with their pets, there are vasectomies, Ark Sciences is/has developed a chemical to sterilize [www.arksciences.com/] , and I believe a saw somewhere, once upon a time, about using radiation or something to sterilize. Though I can't seem to find anything on it now. :d
As far as health benefits go, if you would cut out reproductive organs to prevent cancer, would you cut off and arm or leg to prevent cancer? I can never really see that as a benefit, and would rather have money spent cutting out and off ovaries and testicles go towards funding cancer research to find more viable cures and preventative measure.
But anyways, I've rambled on long enough. lol Haven't really debated this topic in a good while. x)

Thanks for not taking it the wrong way like some people would xD Anyway I see your point though about neutering but I think the problem is that a lot of people aren't responsible like puppy mill owners and ignorant people who would let their dogs run around when they aren't 'fixed.' I did a bit of research about the breed-specific neutering and I'm gonna have to agree with you about that...dogs that aren't spayed/neutered are actually more aggressive then dogs who are, but I don't see the point in just making pit-bulls do it though...but I guess they sort of have a point because a lot of the dogs going into shelters are pit-bulls, but maybe its just because they're rescued and then no one wants them And like the dogfighting people...ugh...why can't people just take care of animals ;_; take a bunch of humans and make them fight to the death it's cruel/a science fiction book (lol) and do it to animals it's entertainment :/

I agree if an owner is responsible there would be no need for neutering [whoo animals] but a lot aren't. I know of a girl who bred her bettas and then went to a forum asking 'what do I do with the babies?'.. needless to say they died..
I want to say that you took that quote entirely out of context. The man was trying to say that domestic breeds can die out while the species survives because when you inbreed and inbreed and inbreed to create a certain breed it creates sickly animals with blood and spine and hip problems and in the end hurts the breed as a whole. Mutts are generally far healthier than purebreds. There's a breed of dog that only has around 30 members in it's family and they're inbreeding them to death.
There are responsible breeders out there, but there are also puppy mills. It's people who are at fault, not the animals.
Just my two cents, I don't want to argue, just want to put out a new perspective that's a variation of yours.

There's a breed with only 30 dogs? 0_o Now that's crazy.
Yeah, the German Shepherd Dog is an example of spine problems. =X
But anyway, thanks for sharing that.

It's super insane! The poor things are getting weaker and weaker genetics.
I love German Shepherds, but I wouldn't be opposed to them adding some 'non breed standard' dogs with strong backs into the genetics and making a slightly different and yet more healthy dog into the mix.
And Poodles have lots of blood problems because of their inbreeding. Plus wiener dogs-don't even get me started on wiener dogs
And no problem. I think people wouldn't have to neuter if they were responsible-then both us and the animals could be happy. But when it comes down to it, I'd rather push for a no kill policy [unless they have like, fighting pitbulls that can't be rehabilitated] in Shelters than a no neuter policy. Less animals mating = less abandoned animals in shelters = more room = less death.
I promise I'm a nice person! XD Just had to say something... and apparently I'm long winded as heck >__>;

Yeah, definitely some new bloodline in there. xp
I don't know much about Poodles, but I'm not surprised. Yeah, wiener dogs. Poor things. =/
I'd probably push for a no kill policy first too. ;]
And no problem. =] I love hearing different opinions and talking about this kind of stuff. x]

That's what Mr. Quote man was talking about. I read a few articles on him trying to say "No-no that's not what I meant." and felt bad for him, he was trying to promote strays and non-purebreds 'cause they were healthier.
And Pugs! Oh poor pugs-sometimes their eyes pop out when they get too excited.. Even if they are in league with batman.. >__> <__< [link] [if you haven't seen this you'll enjoy it]
<3 Good. I like talking about this sorta stuff too and just like to discuss other aspects of it that sometimes make me the badguy

Oh I know. =[ And their muzzle are too short, and they can get breathing problems. D=
That was too cute. ^.^ That pug must be a real fan. lol
Yeah, I can relate. x] When you're against neutering, you come off as the bag guy sometimes too.
