The EM4 rifle is Summeria's standard rifle for both the military and tactical police forces. The gun holds a standard mag of 30 bullets and had an adjustable sight that can be used to shoot targets up close or far away. There is also a slider that the holder of the gun can use to switch between single-shot, burst, and auto-fire with a blue, digital display telling the holder what mode it's in.
The rifle was created by Ernest Hammin III and was first produced during the War for Planet Equis.
Before the EM4 was produced, the Summerian military was struggling to fight against nations with modernized weaponry and their current standard rifle, the EM14 was becoming obsolete and unreliable. Because of this, the generals of Summeria and King Sol contacted General Energetics to create a new rifle that would compete against the enemy's weaponry. Ernest G. Hammin III, an employee of General Energetics and the son of the man who made the EM14 created the EM4 armalite rifle. This rifle gave the Summerian army a fighting chance and helped them gain ground in enemy territory. To this day, the EM4 is still used by Summeria and its allies.
