Description

Grief walkers are an open species created by me. They are basically creatures that are playful and prankers and have lots of fun in their community. If you have any questions about this species and would like to get your own, feel free to ask or read this page.

Everything is open! You can use every feature on this sheet. Hair can be anything you want, and colors can be anything too.

                        .:Genders:.
Males have a minimum height of 6 feet tall and a maximum of 8 feet tall. No other adult male Griefwalker has ever fallen out of this range. The males are usually not fluff covered on their chest, but some are known to have chest fluff.

Females have a minimum height of 5 feet tall and have a maximum of 7 feet tall. No other adult female Griefwalker has ever fallen out of this range. The females always have a chest floof that mostly covers their chest, though some have been known to cut it off.

The females and males do reproduce through sexual intercourse and have children in groups of 1-2.

Griefwalkers live for around 300 years, but sickness and wounds do end one's life sooner.

.:Food:.
They eat mainly fish and meat. Berries and fruits are backups, but are usually only eaten when desperate.
Sweets and candies have been worked on, and are delicacies in their community.
                          .:Noises:.
Griefwalkers make different noises a chirp pur sound similar to a cheetah’s noise.

                          .:Gems:.
Griefwalkers who have the gems on their head show a sort of higher class over any non-gem wearer. The larger or fancier the gem, the more admired they are. Gems are located on the middle of their forehead. These grow naturally as they grow older. However, some are known to forcefully stick a gem on themselves to try to gain the higher class status. Other Griefwalkers have a mutation where gems have grown on their bodies in different formations.

Griefwalkers enjoy gems even if they aren't grown on themselves. They enjoy digging them up or finding them to stash in their nest as a collection. The more gems in their best, the higher status their nests are, receiving more respect in the community.

  GriefWalkers normally are pranksters, enjoy stealing and can get into arguments easily. After watching the Spacebursts, they learned more about the earth and eventually started to play jokes on each other from finding some Spaceburst who did them. GriefWalkers enjoy the shiny objects and get into arguments over who gets the item or who deserves it. They use the shiny objects to put in their nests and to show off. The more gems in the nest the more of a “class” they have

1: Their teeth always showed smiling and have a strong grip when biting down. Though they usually do not fight amongst themselves or others, when needed they use their mouth to bite at an attacker.

2:Griefwalkers enjoy living in the dark. They find it the easiest time to trick someone.

3:Griefwalkers love pulling pranks. This is done in groups or by oneself. The pranks are pulled on each other and to other living beings.

4:Griefwalkers are mostly towards the canine side. Scales, horns, and feathers have never appeared within the species.

5: There are Griefwalkers with magical powers, these are the ones that protect their communities and are highly respected in their groups.

6: Griefwalkers stay in groups and communities. They really are attached to relationships and being with others, making them really social.

7: A large portion of the Griefwalker species are blind or have bad eyesight. This made them adapt a stronger sense of hearing. Using the sounds around them to navigate around the world a lot clearer than before.

8:Griefwalkers are always smiling. When they are sad, angry, depressed, they are forced to smile because that is how their skeleton is formed. This is where their name comes from.

9: Griefwalkers sleep in nests inside their huts. The nests are made up of dry grass. Griefs that have an abundance of gems put them in the nest to show off.

.:Universe:.

The universe named, Mukō , and the world where the Griefwalkers live on is named, Shinrin.
Shinrin is mostly comprised of forests but also includes 1 ocean, multiple lakes, snow forms, and so for. This world started with the arrival of the Spaceburst species. After the Spaceburst traveled the universe with earth, some of them learned the human ways and continued their journey for a new home. One of these Space burst groups landed on Shinrin and worked on building up their communities. As they developed they found ways to use bone remains to create new creatures to live on their barren world. The corpses of their dead were used in science to create many creatures, including the Griefwalkers. The first few were taught how to live and were examined. After the Spaceburst thought, they were ready, they were released. One male, one female. The two fled to the forests and developed as their own together, repopulating and learning more from each other and watching the Spaceburst from afar.

The two species no longer communicate with each other, living in their respected areas peacefully…
