Thank you! I do not have a gallery but I do show locally. I had sought representation in Atlanta but nothing came of it. I will try again soon.

Your artwork is so still. Whenever I look at your drawings and paintings, I always have to just sit and stare instead of doing my usual routine for my inbox, and it always makes me take a moment to myself and think about things.

I feel like your art quietly whispers, but it has some strong things to say if you just stop and listen to it. Do you work in the art field?

I am an aspiring illustrator. I get small commissions and illustration work. In the Fall of 2009 I was approached by Simon & Schuster/Aladdin Publishing and am now developing a children's book (they want me to write and illustrate it). I've wanted to illustrate children's books for awhile.
I mostly show locally but have participated in shows in Atlanta, GA and New York, NY. I haven't found representation yet. I've tried in the past but o luck so far.

The children's book is going to be about a little bird named Fern. Simon & Schuster is the publishing company. They want me to write the story too. I can come up with ideas easily but writing it is tough.

Unfortunately, yes... I've seen so many artists die out just because they didn't know enough people to be successful. I think once you're finished with this book, you'll be recognized more =]

I think it will be released in most parts of the US. I have written a decent short story of Fern helping a rabbit but it is too wordy. They want short and snappy so I need to give the story another rewrite. I have a couple writers and english degree people in my area that might be able to help me.
