I have been working on this piece off an on throughout the latter part of 2011. I officially stopped working on it on Friday (12/30) and so makes this the last piece started and completed in 2011. Happy New Year!!!
Acrylics, pastels, charcoal and graphite pencil on raw linen sized with acrylic medium.
24x30 inches

Seems more polished then usual........more smooth. That white line on the opposite side of the rabbit is what clinches it! And the red ballon too.

I go back and forth sometimes between gestural, textural brushstrokes and the more smooth brush-work. I am seeking a "happy medium" between the two.
