So, there's a huge story behind this, but I don't feel like telling it right now. But, it's a breast comparison chart. X3

Updated the picture to make Dani's hair darker, and now I'm telling the story. Just so everyone knows.

It's worth noting that probably my favorite part about this piece is the different skin tones on each girl.

So, I happened across a conversation with a friend in which she gave me a link to a picture with the caption "But they all look the same size"--it was an artist on dA who had done a breast comparison chart for the sake of fanservice and just whatever, right? I looked at it, and for the sake of good reference it is here > [link] < but please don't go insult him or lead him back here because I really don't want to criticize him in such a way as that would be rude unless I was being constructive and I am not really, so, just bear that in mind.

I was pretty much of the same opinion -- the biggest size could be told from the smallest, but it didn't seem like they actually progressed in a very concise manner and a good portion of them were easily arguable that they were the same size--and trust me, I know that subtle differences can be lost in posing and such, so I'm not really judging, but I thought I could do a better job, and it was a simple idea, and I wanted to check it out, so I went ahead with it.

Between Taishi and Izzy I was a little worried, because there are 4 darn categories over "average" and it was hard enough to figure out characters for each size.

There was no doubt Taishi would be my Extra large, as she has been noted as my biggest breasted character. Early on in my development of the characters I have today come to love and use so often, I declared it so, and thus it has stood. S'kinda like Toukutarou is my character with the largest penis in proportion to his size--but I rolled that randomly with a percentile, so. . . that's slightly different. Back on topic.

Second up I struggled with choosing Izzy or possibly Maki. Both of them are a little obscure and nobody on dA would know them very well, and that's slightly sad, but I went with Izzy because she's been at my forethought more often lately and Maki is Indian and would have dark skin and the referenced picture's second girl is also the only darkie and I was like, "Whoa man, that would be too awkward."

Third was Shi, and nobody else was really gonna fight for that position. Shi is one of my favorite characters and she's well known by you guys so there was no doubt.

Danara had been decided for above average early on, just like I had chosen Tam for small right off the bat, but Aristat could have easily been in the same area as her daughter. While I struggled with wanting to draw Aristat for this, I could not replace Dani and Aristat really does have the same rack, and either of the muses would be irked at me for proclaiming one bigger or smaller than the other.

Average--nine gods, I had everyone else, but average was a doozy. I really didn't think of any of my characters as average. Especially none that anyone actually knew. I thought Lietra MIGHT be average, but I wasn't sure, and I didn't like the idea of drawing a halfling sized girl compared to all the rest, because when standing alone it's clear she's not a child, but if I were to draw her next to everyone else, you know dA would slap me for child pornography and I'd be carted off. I finally settled on Katan, although before this breast chart thing I'd have pegged her for above average. She didn't care much, so, she fit.

Sh'heis is below average, and most of you don't know her unless you look at my porn art. She's the one with the titan--yeah, the giant guy. Constantly. She's a calico catfol, and was a pissant to color since I was doing only two to three layers for everyone else. She took, like, nine.

Small is Tam, obviously, and I knew she would be the bottom rung the moment I decided I would do small as a female and not be an ass and put Kaida there.
