I could see the teens gasp as the men stared in shock
Their bewilderment seemed to fill up the whole block,
It was tough comprehending that I'd been the one
To have given them so much bare tickled-feet fun;
Then the men I could see looked a little discreet
Maybe trying to hide their humongous bare feet,
While the barefootin boys seemed to think it was cool
I'd made all the tough men giggle just like a fool;
And yet even if there I had been pretty slick
That I ought to be maybe repaid for the trick,
Looking down as they tried to decide what to do
When their eyes all lit up - I was barefootin too;

It took maybe a moment for them to decide
I was quickly surrounded with nowhere to hide,
I decided I might as well try to explain
There was little to lose and a bit more to gain;
"I'm the Barefootin Tickler, that much is most true
But I knew I could never be open with you,
And this town was just dying for foot-tickled fun
See how much it's caught on now that you've all begun;
It would sure have been cool just to bring you guys joys
Just to make you all barefooters here like the boys,
But you're all too adult for my foot ticklin treat
So I just had to trick you - and dudes, it was sweet!"

Then they grabbed both my arms and they held me there tight
As they tried to decide what to make of my plight,
I could tell they believed I had spoken the truth
And to treat me severely would just be uncouth;
Then I saw with surprise their expressions all froze
I had mindlessly wiggled my ticklish bare toes,
And I wondered if I was detecting an urge
As their faces revealed they might let themselves splurge;
When they spoke out at last, they confessed, "We've been beat
You were right about all of our ticklish bare feet,
And in light of your knowledge, we'll give you your due
How will you like us now all barefeet-tickling you?"
