"I'm falling. Can't you feel that? My life slowly slipping away from me? I guess you don't... How could you? You aren't me. You don't even know me. But I'll give you another way to see me bleed. Bleed..."

This is D*Seifer at age 15. He just lost the only person who actually seemed to care for him. It did wonders for his happiness. Normally, he would be happy, always smiling, trying as he might to make others feel the happiness he does. After Derrick left, that went out the window. He stopped caring whether or not he was cooperative and polite, often ignoring everything around him. He lost interst in the things that use to bring him endless joy. All in all, his life was brought to a momentary halt. It'd be a year and a half before he ever smiled again, and that moment in time didn't last long.

It took him three years to regain his composure half way. Even at age 18 he's not quite over it, but nevertheless, he's somewhat happy. There is one, and only one reason he continues living on each day.

Children.

He has a love for all children, like the old saying goes "Life is never complete withought the laughter of children filling it." Without kids occasionally talking to him out of morbid curiousity, he'd end up sitting in some cold, dark room, crying his life away. He doesn't take change very well.
