On my website I'm doing a series where I'm destashing my huge collection of scrap fabrics. ^-^ With every scrap I use up I make up a new little project for it, then give away the project pattern for free! I've amassed over fifty on my website so far, but since this one is a few months old I thought I would move it here as well.

Not only do a have a huge stash of leftover fabric, but I have a decorative paper addiction too x_x I used up some colored paper and scrapbook paper to create these notebooks, since I love dabbling in bookbinding. One kind of binding I wanted to try out is called Dos-a-dos -- this makes a kind of reversible book, where the cover forms an accordion shape with a whole book on one side and the other. It was so much fun to do It seemed like a perfect reason to incorporate the gender-swapped variations of the Adventure Time characters, so I did 6 of them here.

I think if you were to make your own, it would be the perfect excuse to put together your favorite couple

The pattern is a .pdf where the first half is instructions, and the second half is a printable pattern.

Enjoy!

You're right -- he doesn't have one! Since I still wanted to include him in the group, the alternate is one of the other 'MOs' from his origin episode "Be More" ^-^
I figured that was a decent compromise

Not at all! You could easily fuse on all the applique pieces with heavy duty fusible web (which doesn't need any sewing)
And instead of sewing the paper to the cover with a machine, you could use a saddle stitch instead (www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWHkY5… )
