TUMBLR FACEBOOK On my website I'm doing a series where I'm destashing my huge collection of scrap fabrics. ^-^ With every scrap I use up I make up a new little project for it, then give away the project pattern for free! I've amassed over twenty on my website so far, but since this one is a few months old I thought I would move it here as well
This was done as a huge favor for my awesome boyfriend >w< He needed a case for his new tablet, but he was very picky that he needed all the right pockets, tabs, and flaps that he exactly wanted ^-^ So that's what this case has: a back pocket for your cords, an inner pocket for your stylus, and a top flap that buttons so you're not pushing on your tablet while you close it. There are a lot of details to the case, but if you take it one step at a time it's not so hard
The pattern is a .pdf where the first half is instructions, and the second half is a printable pattern that you assemble by taping the paper sheets together.

Omg I LOVE this. I would like to use it to make a satchel. First I think I must get better at understanding this stuff and then buy a sewing machine! But when I do I'll show you!

This is really cute! But my sister pointed out one tiny flaw to your design. The start and select buttons aren't slanted on the original gameboy color. They're laid down straight horizontally.

When I asked her for it, I asked that it be based off of the Gameboy, not the color (because we're old farts). The original had slanted start/select buttons =^-^= upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia⦠<3

My sister argues that your mudkip case has a blue screen, therefore a gameboy color. lol. But I see! I never had the gameboy. And of course neither did my lil sis. hah. My first videogame handheld was the gameboy color. that was when gaming starting to be a real fad. lol
Cool. Now it makes me wonder why nintendo decided to never make slanted start/select buttons ever again after the gameboy. O_O
Oh and just to annoying (lol >_<"); a gameboy design but new generation pokemon : mudkip? the irony. lol
