Description
I was walking in the forest of "My Pet Fairy" and I saw this red kool-aid looking guy. So I walked closer to see why it was just standing there, I didn't notice at first but then I noticed, it had soiled its own britches, and when I asked "Why?" All it said was, Phil Collins music is jsut so beautiful I couldn't help myself.Enjoy

I think this is your best image. The color work, concept, and composition are all great. The lighting and shadows are pretty good. There is a problem with over-sharpening in the face, and the foreground grass.
Don't forget that you can sharpen regionally. You can select out the grass, face and other areas, then feather the selection to soften the transition. Sharpen the grass, face, and other areas that only need a small amount of sharpening. Then invert your selection and sharpen the as much as you need for the rest of the image.
Here is some info on how to set the setting for UNSHARP MASK:
SHARPENING
Never Sharpen an image until Final Output, and do it to a copy of the file. What this means is that once you have adjusted your photo or artwork exactly how you want it, DO NOT SHARPEN IT. Wait until you are ready to output it, then do it to a copy of the file and label it accordingly. For example, you need to output it for and Inkjet Printer. Make a copy of the image file, size your image to the required final physical output size and Resolution (i.e. 300 dpi), then sharpen it accordingly. Next, you want to post the image on DA. Make another copy of the image file, size it the physical size you want it, at 72 dpi, then sharpen it accordingly. The sharpening settings will be very different for print, press and screen resolutions, AND by the quality of the media.
If the image is to go to Press, the resolution will change depending on the Media. Newsprint is only about 81 dpi. Any higher and the ink bleed will make it all blobby. Output to a lithographic press may be 266 (for 133 line screen) to much high for very high-end coated papers.
***** My point here is that your one image may get used again and again for different output, all at different resolutions. SHARPENING is based on resolution. So, Do not sharpen your image until you make a copy of it and then sharpen it.
There are a number of ways to sharpen an image, such as HIGH PASS, TWO PASS, Double Adjustment Layers Technique, Smart Sharpen, and Unsharp Mask.Tutorial on Camera Raw Sharpening and PS's Smart Sharpen [link]

For Unsharp Mask settings:
Radius is the number of pixels surrounding the edge pixels that are to be affected by the sharpening.
For screen resolutions of 72 dpi for posting on DA start with a radius setting of 0.4 to 0.6.
For higher resolution images, Divide you image's resolution by 300 to start. So for a 300 dpi image your start radius would be 1.0 (I am more conservative and start at 0.5).
Threshold determines how different the brightness values between two pixels must
be before they are considered edge pixels and are sharpened by the filter.
For screen resolutions of 72 dpi for posting on DA start with about 5.
Amount determines how much the contrast of pixels is increased.
For screen resolutions of 72 dpi for posting on DA try amounts between 50% and 150%.
