Thank you. I'm reminded that we haven't been up there for a long time now. I've been avoiding these Christchurch hills due to a string of earthquakes over the last two years. These hills are volcanic in origin and big basalt boulders are scattered all over them. The rocks need to roll and tumble about in big shakes and you don't want to be in their way! Earthquakes seem to have settled down now so maybe this summer (Christmas time) I will be happy to ramble over the hills once again.

LOL. Yip, it's a real place. Been visiting there all my life.
My sister and her family visited New York and southeast Canada recently. They took lots of photos. To me it looks really weird to see photos of people I know in New York. Looks like they've photoshopped themselves into a scene from a cop-show TV drama! And in front of Niagara Falls too. Looks crazy!
