My tribute to Dead Rising 2.
This has been sitting unfinished on my computer for the past month. I hadn't intended to leave it so long, but I've been rather busy (and still am). So, why did I suddenly choose to finish it now? Well, I realized that I need to get my butt in gear if I'm to get a couple of other very important projects done on time. And having things sitting around unfinished would just get in the way.
Anyway, I'm very happy with how this turned out. I have no idea why I went with this kind of style, but it was the just the way I imagined the image in my mind. Also, I always find it refreshing to try out different styles.
So, this particular drawing is a funny little idea that came to me while I was playing Dead Rising 2. I had a lot of fun playing it and found myself, perhaps, enjoying it even more than Dead Rising. I loved the inclusion of combo weapons and the variety. It was great seeing what results I'd get by using each weapon on the endless supply of zombies. Also, I think I found the story more engaging, and the characters more interesting this time round.
The only thing that really annoys me, is the fact that I couldn't unlocked some of the achievements that should've unlocked, but didn't because of a stupid glitch.
But I guess that's only a minor thing...
Enjoy Chuck Greene killing zombies (with the chainsaw paddle combo weapon) in order to protect his daughter, Katey (who is busily engrossed with her Megaman videogame)!

It's too fun to actually do the missions.

I know exactly what you mean! XDDD I was a terrible father myself, a few times. But it couldn't be helped because everything looked so fun, and I wanted to try out everything! Even the waterslide in the Palisades Mall!

the waterslide is so fun, and making Chuck get drunk. you can even watch movies at the movie theatre. I made Chuck watch a love story and he looked so emotional like he was about to cry lol good thing he wore shades.........and was the only one there

oh cool. I'll have to check it out next time i play and it's kind of ironic that he'd watch a horror movie during a zombie apocalyse..living a real horror, he'd probably see it as a comedy

When suddenly, Chuck was struck by a bolt of lightning. But what Chuck didn't know, it came straight.................... from Katey's portable Megaman game.............................. Then, he thought it was a good idea to break the forth wall like his daughter.
**Chuck spots Leon attempting to run Katey over**
"Oh no you DON'T!!!"
**he jumps to the top of the screen, grabs one of his health blocks, and throws it in front of Leon, and it expands long before it landed **
"Health Block in your face!!!"
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" *Crash!!!!!*
**Leon lands face first**
**Then Chuck reaches for his Prestige Points (PP) Bar attempting to use it as a club**
"Taste the wrath of the new power level....."
Katey: "Go, daddy! Go!!!!
**He then finally gets it loose**
WTF is that thing!?
First of all: watch the language; my daughter right there. And second: FORE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't say killing zombies is my favorite subject, but this is so well drawn and in such a crisp, wonderful style, I just had to comment. 8D It looks like game box art! Sweet work!
