"I sure hope they pick one of our girls for today's sacrifice" said one of the older grey women, as she held in place the head of her canvas, proceeding to paint the intricate pattern on the Dark Priestess.

The priestess was quiet. Very quiet, and didn't resist the work of the artists. Often the priestess of the Dark Cults of the Demon Lords took sacred drugs to perform their duties. She could hardly focus in this world, for her mind was wandering to the realms of spirits and to the Eternal Pit.

The preparations for the ceremony had been done in a hurry. The sudden visit of a Half-Demon Lord caught the whole tribe by surprise, so as always, everything was late, and still many of the priestesses and the rest of the tribe had to get their paint done, so they were working against the wheel of the sun, for the ceremony was to be done at dawn.

"uh... Hadn't you heard?" the other artist said, as she lifted one of the arms of the drugged priestess. "There isn't going to be a sacrifice"

"What?!"

"Well, not a sacrifice-sacrifice as demons lords normally like it. This Half-Demon Lord said that he preferred other kinds of sacrifices. Ones performed better in a bed"

The first painter almost cursed against one of the (Half) Demon Lords. She almost cursed as she almost made as well a mistake on the painting. But she caught herself before blasphemy. But she couldn't but wonder what sort of a demon lord was a Half-demon lord, who didn't wanted proper blood sacrifices.

This Half-Demon Bogael was sure an oddity.

But he was so charming, too!
