Corn was born much like many other Toads were, a servant to Princess Peach within the walls of the Mushroom Kingdom Castle. A rather shy sort, she never particularly got on with the other Toads well, as while she was quite friendly at her core, she often fled from interactions with the other Toads, eventually scaring them into avoiding her in turn, as they believed something was legitimately wrong with her in the head. Isolated from most companionship, she often sought friendship with Princess Peach, one of the only people she felt comfortable speaking with, but this seldom lasted long, as it was only a matter of time until Bowser would swoop in and steal her away, and as Mario saved the day once more, the poor little Toad was just a background image, nothing of real importance. Slowly she grew bitter, feeling like not only was she being overlooked because of her species, but also that somehow Mario was stealing away her friend from her, and that she was more entitled to Princess Peach's attention than Mario was. It wasn't long before she sought her own solution to this problem, and this eventually lead her to the solution of following wherever Peach went - or in layman's terms, she decided to join up with Bowser, since Peach was always getting captured anyways. Misguided in her actions, she assisted the Koopa King in capturing Princess Peach, believing that this would give her all the quality time she could ever want with the princess. Instead, however, she was rejected for being a traitor, and the princess turned away from her, refusing to speak with her anymore. Corn became infuriated over this, and looking for someone to blame for the loss of her friend, she pushed this blame onto the same person she had been blaming all this time - Mario. She was eager to see the plumber finally put in his place, and Bowser, sensing this eagerness, took advantage of an excited young Toad by sending her into the depths of battle. Wholly unprepared for combat with the plumber, she was taken down, and when she refused to relent in her hellbent assault on Mario, he was forced to finish her off for good. She died with a vindictive rage in her heart over everything that lead her to this situation. She was mad at Peach for refusing to be her friend. She was mad at Bowser for sending her into a fight she could never win. But most of all, she was mad at Mario... for taking away the most important thing she had - her very life. The rage she let boil within her as she drew her last breath resonated deep within her, and it wasn't long before she awoke on the battlefield, much to her surprise. But the fight was over and the bodies of those slain laid around her - including her own. She was a Boo now, brought back by the desire to seek her vengeance. And seek it she did. She allied herself with King Bowser once again - though not before pranking him as a means of letting him know she was mad at him - and she pretended to be his friend to get her revenge on Mario. But the Koopa King was fooled into believing the passive-aggressive Boo was on his side, and while she continues to work alongside him as though they are allies once more, deep within her heart burns a desire to see him put in his place too. She's simply waiting for the right chance, waiting for Mario's defeat so she can snatch the celebration right up from underneath Bowser.

Doesn't like to be looked at, though she can handle it from far enough away, by a trusted person, or by a non-intelligent entity.

Likes to pull pranks on Bowser as a subtle reminder that she's still upset at him.

Doesn't see Luigi as a threat, but still likes to spook him.

Her true leader is King Boo, and while she spends a lot of her time working with Bowser, King Boo's order can and will override Bowser's at anytime, and she will always do King Boo's will first and foremost.
Her lick is paralyzing.

She cannot die. Even if she's defeated her ghostly form will collapse and the fragment of her soul will flee back to King Boo, where it will be rebuilt into a new body once more.
Cannot have children, but can still participate in intercourse.

Plans to kill Bowser after Mario is killed.
Wielded a spear as a Toad, a weapon that even as a Boo, she still remembers how to wield and attack with.

Has all the standard powers of a ghost.
Very shy, even as a Boo. She's not very good at starting social interactions with her fellow Boos, though this is usually remedied as the group bonds over either their general loyalty to King Boo or pranks that they'll pull as a group and all collectively laugh at.

There's no canon universe for her existence, so she can be moved around canons as it fits, including Paper Mario.
