Umena was created when a group of scientists was trying to create a new pokémon. They where trying to combine a mew and a Umbreon to create a Dark / Psychic type. But instead, they ended up with Umena. At first, they thought she just had owned the Umbreon's colours. But when she used a Dark Move from the Umbreon they had used, they got curious. They took samples and found out that she was just what they wanted. But she didn't like the place. And she did NOT like the needles they kept poking her with. So in the end, she ran off. Fleeing from the place in cover of the night. She then later on set down and made her home in a hollowed out tree in a forest, where she later was found.
