Jedi Masters Nate Raine and Naali Udra finally give into the love they've had for eachother for so very very long.

Both Nate and Naali have shared a connection since they became friends as padawans. As time grew, this bond grew stronger. However, both were strict followers of the jedi code and neither would admit their feelings to the other. Years went by and Nate met a human woman named Adriane Lore (an artifact hunter). He saved her life and they fell in love, married, and had a child. Nate, still being a strict follower of the jedi code, left the accademy when he fell in love. His best friends, Naali and Verdin Darkwalker never agreed with his decision, but let him go. When Nate left the accademy, Naali fell into a slight depression. She'd never told Nate how she felt - and while she believed she had done the right thing in keeping her feelings silent, she could not stop the aching in her heart. She never left the temple on Coruscant after he left. A few years later, Nate's son Christopher Raine was born and there was assassination by Nate's Sith Lord Sister on Nate's life. Nate and 1 yr old Chris lived, but his wife Adriane was killed. Swearing vengence for the death of his wife, Nate Raine dropped his son off in the care of his old friend Naali at the jedi temple on Coruscant and swore her to secrecy regarding what he intended to do. Nate's journey led him to discover that his sister had been responsible for his wife's death. His sister nearly killed him in the ensuing fight and he still bears a light saber scar just above his heart. His sister placed a force restraining sith collar upon him and shoved him into one of her crime lord assossiate's jails on the far outer rim. Naali Udra felt Nate's near death experience and when the collar was put on him to deny him access to the force, she felt her force link with him severed and believed him to be dead. Naali mourned hard for the loss of her dear friend and blamed herself for his death (because she had kept his secret and had not told her friend Verdin or the Council what he'd intended to do and most of all because she didn't go with him). 10 years later, Naali received a reliable tip that Nate was still alive and was being held prisoner upon a planet on the outer rim. Naali lost no haste in requesting her friend Verdin's help to rescue her old friend. The rescue was difficult but successful. A year later in a market place upon Coruscant, Nate finally decided to tell Naali of his true feelings. After so many years, both finally decided that some rules can't help but be broken. Keeping this secret from their friend Verdin, they began a secret love affair.

This picture also stands as a reason why I should not stay up late browsing though Luis Royo artwork and listening to The Cult. This really is not normal for me. *LOL* Ah well...I'm a sap for a good love story, always have been and always will be. Oh..and I think Nate turned out looking like a hunk in this one. *purrs*
