This is for my drawings class, we had a small task to draw a wave in photoshop with a tablet, and here is mine.It was a bit of a challenge, waves and water is hard to do Dx I also tried to do a camera half-underwater effect... but it kind of failed and looks really lame haha. at least i tried 8D.
Drawn in Photoshop CS4 with a Wacom Tablet.

Water is really tricky. :< I've done a lot with it, but it can still be really hard! Anyway, this looks beautiful! I love the different shades of blue you used and the spray at the crest of the wave looks awesome. ^^

It's come out really well! Much better than my attempt at that assignment lol
And I don't know what you're talking about, the slight-cam view under water seemed to come out just how it does in a real camera shot. But if you really wanted to alter it so it's not under, you could clone brush the wave as it's coming across, then touch it up, to make a complete wave with the cam no under.

This is so awesome... O___O The greatest of respect to you. I mean, really. It DOES look like a photograph. And being a person that can't draw water in any form to save my life, I can appreciate people who can very much. God knows how many times I've tried and it never looked as good as this.

I'm sorry I can't write a critique, coz you have to be a premium member for that. But I do love this picture of yours. It's so detailed and the colour and blending you've used are fantastic. It reminds me of the sea in Cyprus when I go to visit my relatives there. It's totally gorgeous. Keep up the good work. (nods)
