I know this has been said already, but this is awsome, and great job on the shading and the details, and basically everything. I didn't even notice the scar on the chest until I read it in the artist's comments, and I couldn't find it until I full view-ed and really looked. Oh and I like the tail and wings. Basically, I'm going to fave this as soon as I hit send for this comment.

I had the weirdest urge to come look at this pictures and omg I'd forgotten how sexy and delicious it was x_x The shading is AMAZING and that background is extraordinary!!
It has so much detail! Omg the bricks around the lava, and the lava itself, and even the freakin DOOR!!!
His chest is so..so...it's THERE, it has volume and definition and yummy!

I also really really REALLY like the hair! It's such a pretty color.

You did a GREAT job fitting him into the background! A lot of times characters looked tacked on, but he fits right in!

This is gonna sound really retarded, but I LOVE that door in the background. Seriously. You did a freaking awesome job on that detail. The lava, and the sides of the pool and all just looks incredible (and inviting! XD) and your lighting, as stated above, is just phenomenal. I love how his chest turned out, too. The shading there seems to really have some dimension. His tail, especially the spiky end of it looks really great, too. <3 This picture is made of just so much win. ^^

Now for the crits; the first thing I notice, and I hate to say it 'cause I know you were so sick of working on them, is that the scales look pretty much just outlined on, and don't really look like they have any depth to them, kinda like they're not separate pieces. Something about his facial features seems a bit undefined, too. It's hard to place, but I think maybe his nose could have used more definition around the edges, his lips just a hint of color, and his eyes... maybe some definition to the upper and lower lids?

His abs look like they're pushed toward us maybe just a liiiiiittle bit too much, or maybe it's more because they're drawn like your looking at them from more of an angle that they're positioned? Okay, I have no idea if that made any sense. lol, I can't help but feel that his bellybutton is a tad high. X3;

But man, crits totally aside, this is so beautiful. You're really getting amazing with your art, you know that? And with your backgrounds... His hair looks soft and pet-able. XD Eh, Fierrin's such a sweetie, he really is. I love him to death. <3 He's been so incredibly good to Ri and Ikusu, too. ...Okay, this comment is long enough. Let's RP!
