Branchpaw woke to the sound of the crashing waves ringing out in the distance. He stretched and cleaned the bedding from his fur. He stepped out into the morning sun, the warm rays heating his fur. Branchpaw yawned and looked for his mentor. He wanted to get started as soon as he could. With his mentor nowhere in sight just yet, Branchpaw sat down and watched the clan’s morning routine. Cats slowly started to crawl out of their beds and set out on the day’s task.
