What a great picture!

The subject matter is interesting, with possible symbolism or mystery. The door is open but the next door is still closed. You can see the passageway from one door to the next but cannot see what is on either side of that passageway.

The composition is strong - symmetrical and tightly cropped to focus on the main subject matter. Converging verticles are controlled. The depth of field is excellent.

The exposure has given a good range of tones with some detail visible at both the dark and light ends of the range.
