Description This is horrible, but I want to flesh out this character. The next drawing should be the actual city on the horizon, and of a much higher quality. I feel like the color ruined this one, once I started, I just kept going. I probably won't do another colored drawing of this character for a bit.

Hmm... perhaps if you colored in everything a little darker with the same pencil, and added some black into the sand to dull the color a little bit? I don't draw much in colored pencil (which I'm just casually assuming this is) anymore, but a few years ago I figured out it's much better to color in much darker colors, since it makes the color pop and takes away all the leftover white space, and helps get rid of those places where you changed direction when coloring a little bit.

I do love how you colored the part of the desert(?) on the left side, as in that little triangular section between the bottom left corner and the city. It looks so sand-like, with the rippling sand effect usually found in deserts. Also, the design on the robe is really good! I do love your color choice, since the pink helps the character to stand out from the background, yet also stays with the general color palette, as in it doesn't stand out quite as drastically as if you'd used, say, blue or purple, but I really like that effect. Like, it stands out, but not too much. ^^

Thank you for finding nice things to say about this. I know I could do a lot better, especially with coloring. I'll be sure to put those ideas to practice!
