Felicity Flowers AKA Fuchsia Fury glanced over at her diminutive friend Samantha Knight AKA Blonde Sable as they shopped. It had been almost a month since Fuchsia Fury and Cracovia had stopped Blonde Sable from crossing a very thin line from heroine to vigilante. Felicity had chosen to stay in Dream Haven to keep Samantha company and help her start the healing process. It had taken almost a month of spending time with her as well as patrolling with Blonde Sable, but it was starting to pay off. as Felicity saw some of the life returning to her friend.

"I think I am going to get one of these lovely brace..." The rest of her statement trailed off as she heard a shocked gasp from her friend followed by the sound of both her phone and purse dropping to the ground. She turned just in time to see Samantha rushing out of the store leaving both her purse and phone behind. "Samantha, wait for me!" Felicity called out as she stopped to collect her friends purse and phone looking over at the cashier as she followed her friend. "Sorry to leave so suddenly, but I really must go see what has upset my friend. I love your store, please hold that bracelet in the display for me."

Exiting the store she caught a glimpse of Sable turning the corner at the end of the block at a full sprint, fearing the worst Felicity took off in pursuit wondering how her friend could run so fast with her shorter legs and in heels. "I really need her to teach me how she does that." She thought to herself. Rounding the corner she spotted Samantha looking around frantically. Catching up to her she looked around herself, ready for action.

"Do you see her Fliss?" Samantha asked, the tone of her voice mixed with hope and worry.

"See who Samantha dear?" Felicity asked.

"I saw Ellen walk by the store..." Samantha's voice trailed off as she looked up at Felicity the hurt in her eyes as Ellen's loss came crashing back down. "Oh Fliss..."

Felicity pulled Samantha in close and hugged her. "It's OK Samantha, I'm here." Felicity stood there in the middle of the sidewalk comforting her friend as best she could as people walked around them.

On a rooftop across the street, a lone figure watched the pair on the camera monitor in his hand as they dialed their phone. The call was answered on the second ring. "It's me. Phase 2 has started. She did exactly what you said she would. Right now, she is standing in the middle of the sidewalk crying her heart out on her friends shoulder."

There was a pause on the line for a slight moment. "Good, Phase 3 will be ready to start shortly. Until then I want you to accelerate Phase 2. I want her... and her friends to question her sanity." The line went dead before a reply could be given.
