I've always wanted to make Discord, hes one of my favorite characters in MLP. But actually taking on the challenge of designing a pattern and then putting him together was incredibility daunting... So when I got asked if I would be willing to make one as a custom commission, I took it on with a little hesitation. (this is not that commission, but the prototype, for that commission)

It took me almost three months, and probably literally hundreds of hours to create this beast. I learned so much about plushie design, and how things go together. And head shapes... Oh head shapes are a pain...

But he he turned out beautiful! I have never loved one of my plushies so much as I do this guy. The amount of pride I feel when I look at him and go "No way I would have been able to do that a year ago". And knowing that now I can. Feeling the improvement in myself is amazing!

More pictures because one photo could not capture his greatness. Also one next to Fluttershy for a bit of a size comparison. He's actually quite large.
