Description
this is a picture that i did on photoshop as a study in planets. I played around with the textures and the lighting and colors and added city lights. this is my first time to try city lights and i think that they turned out rather nicely. I didnt put in a starfield because i concentrated solely on the planet just as a study. hope you think so! i am open to comments and suggestions! i love to get favs and i love to know what people think.done in: photoshop 7
time took: around 2 hours (off and on)

sweet. I like it because you put a lot of detail into the actual surface - which most spacescape artist do not do. I like it a lot -

thanks!! i will link you to a tutorial that i believe will help you drastically in making a planet!! this tutorial makes the tutorial process very fun and interesting and i think you will get a good result but you need to make it yours in your own way by playing around and experiment with it so that you can call it your own work. I made it my own by adding city lights and other things to it and being creative! dont copy the planet from the tutorial b/c you can make it like your personality and emotion is!! make it like "you" and not exactly like the tutorial. put your own special touches on it! i know youll do great!!

That is really really sweet! For a first try at city lights, that turned out amazingly. Altho I larger image would have been nicer, I wouldn't ding ya for that. Great job!
