-----This is a piece that I recently did in ps7 after brushing up on some skills
im waiting desperately for a tablet but now i am as broke as a toothpick in a meatgrinder...random thoughts but anyhoo im pretty pleased with the outcome. The starfield in this image is remotely what i wanted it to look like but i think it could be better. I will improve as i keep going but this is a start. I hope you like it.

All I can say is maybe dull down the background stars where the image gets darker (bottom right), but this isn't your most recent work so I won't go into the negatives. Judging by your more recent works, it looks like you've improved anyway
As for the light, I think it is great. The way it is shining on the planet really puts the focus onto the planet, which I think is what you were trying to do. Besides, art doesn't always have to be photo realistic

Personally, I think this looks great...i don't see anything wrong with the size of the stars...they aren't all the same shape, but you can tell they are placed in different measures...if that makes sense? Either way..this looks great! I love the idea, and the colors look so awesome and almost peaceful too..

planet looks aight. starfield is ok but you could improve it with some more details. and the way that "heavens light"is comin to the planet is a bit unrealistic.

OK, the stars...to bright...and to big, you might want to make them smaller...and a little more random. The light is WAY to focused on the planet, what you want to do, is "BRUSH your light, or smug it, when you blur it like that...It doesn't look real good. the nebula/Fog is ok, you might want to take a burn tool and burn it a little in places, and then get a darker color and go around the burn holes, that will give it a little more "Depth". Planet looks good...the lighting is a "little" off thoe...The BIG stars, you might want to either make them alot smaller and not so bright, or take them out....the "SUN" is to "White" you might want to add just a little color to in, and smug it, burn a little on the outside ( a LITTLE , like 1-4 % ), Another thing you can do, is airbrush your nebula, make some areas lighter and some a little darker.
But beside that, I like it
