Summers light fades into the distance beyond a mountain peak causing the atmosphere to glaze over into a cold, stale night. In the morning, summer's eye appears and dries up the hard earth in another miserable day...

This is just a recent render done in terragen with post manips. I tried to create a feeling of heat and dryness and I think it turned out nicely . Tried to get some interesting lighting on a terrain that was otherwise kind of surreal and arid and it gave it a very emotional feeling. The rays were a bit tricky and the lighting on the terrain was somewhat difficult to get but it takes work to give it that effect. I hope you like it
