Description
The mostly blue staxie was rapidly signing at Kyūbi, either over worrying about Kyūbi being on his own with their unborn child, or about Kyūbi coming with him to his magic classes. The lighter staxie looked at him, his eyes looked like he was out of it, but he was for sure there and present with their conversation.
“Tōkyū you know I can barely understand when you sign fast, I may be good with sign language, but I’m not that good.” The blue staxie looked at him offended, to which Kyūbi gave a soft shrug. “But I can tell from how frantic you’re signing that you’re worried about something. If it’s about the fact that I’m coming with you for your magic classes, don’t worry. I’ll be fine, whether I’m here in our home, or if I’m with you at the magic class. Okay? No more worrying.” Kyūbi walked up to Tōkyū, grabbing his front claws, looking at the longer staxie in his eyes, conveying his love and trust through the silence.
Tōkyū opened his mouth as if he were to try to complain. Instead, he let his mouth close, and rested his forehead against Kyūbi’s, their noses touching as well.
“It’ll be okay, I know you’re worried for both me and our child. But I trust you enough to know you’ll keep both of us safe and protected.” The smaller staxie whispered, pressing his snout against Tōkyū’s cheek.

A couple days later

“Tōkyū, are you ready to go?” Kyūbi called out from their front door, hearing the other rummaging around for something. “You know you don’t have to go right, I’m a little worried about your injury.” Finally Tōkyū came to the front door, a stern look on his face.
“I’ll be fine, don’t worry, it’s most likely healed up anyways. Albert just told me to keep these on for longer.” Tōkyū signed, throwing the bandages on the side table, finishing wrapping them around his torso. “Plus, I know I’ll have you there if something happens.” Tōkyū smiled genuinely, gently nudging Kyūbi’s side.
“Alright, but I’m taking these incase anything happens.” Kyūbi grabbed the bandages the other threw down, putting them in the pouch that had developed on his chest. He knows why he has it, but seeing as he is still gravid, he may as well use it for other important items. “Let’s go, maybe there’ll be some of the staxies you met last time.” Tōkyū nodded, going and holding the door open for Kyūbi.

At the magic school

Tōkyū looked around, there were many more new faces than faces he’s seen before, but at least it allows him to know who he’s met and who he hasn’t. He introduced Kyūbi to many of the staxies he met before, such as Giacomo, Dave, Miami and some others. The smaller staxie smiled kindly, allowing himself to be dragged around by his partner. The introductions, and chatter had come to a stop when two other staxies came in. It was Koevit and Reverie, the two smiled at the students as they had quieted down.
“Welcome! We have Reverie here helping out with the intermediate classes today, so make sure to listen well to her.” Koevit had then gone to explain the lessons for the basic water and fire classes, while Reverie had explained the lessons for the Transmutation and Divination classes. “Alright class, let’s get to it.”
“Who are you thinking of pairing up with, since y’know you can’t do this with me, I’m not a student.” Kyūbi inquired, he’s already a little tired, being gravid has taken a lot of energy from him, but he’s doing his best to keep up with Tōkyū. The taller one sat up on his hind legs, towering over Kyūbi, and scanned the water class students. His eyes landed on a pink and blue staxie, and nodded his head over to her.
The two made their way over to her, Tōkyū smiled at her, and started to sign, to her asking if she wanted to pair up. Kyūbi butted in quickly translating, “incase you haven’t learned sign language, I can translate, he was wondering if you wanted to pair with him for the assignment.” The smaller staxie looked at the two of them, before nodding her head.
As the two students worked on the assignment, they learned the pink staxie’s name is Slushie. They all seemed to have fun working on moving the water carefully to be able to water the plant in front of them. Kyūbi was feeling really happy being able to see Tōkyū having fun and being interested in the water, especially after what happened to him.
I very much am happy with this, I love how Tōkyū looks, all hunched over, and just yes. Also, I've finally changed the markings on Kyūbi's tail, kinda the reason why there are two more drawings of Kyūbi before this one. I just was struggling with the markings before, so now he has many more markings than he used to, I'm very happy with it. Also I did a kinda different way of adding lighting, and shading, I've been watching a lot of Drawfee, and seeing the different ways that they shade makes me wanna change up my way of doing it, and so I have.

Also a fire student seems to have snuck into my drawing, I'm not counting for beans, cuz I drew him very small, and you can't fully see him, but he's there.
