Description
Azure Mist had been traveling through the forest for a little while, thinking about what happened with Thunder, and the Pelt Prowler. She hadn't seen them since then, and she's not happy with herself about that, but she just wanted to be able to make sure that they were okay, but she, for as much as she loved Thunder, she didn't want to interfere with their healing process.

She had been using her enhanced hearing, listening to the rushing waters of a nearby river, when she heard a child screaming in fear and pain. She immediately jumped to action and used some speedy movement to reach the child, and the Yittle that had been there, attacking the child.

She felt her back legs reach up, and claw at the side of the Yittle as she pushed it away from the child. She saw the blood on the child's arm, worried that the child was badly hurt.

In her worry she didn't notice the Yittle reaching to attack her. It struck her left cheek, she gasped in pain, and snapped its leg with the strength of her big paws. The Yittle let out a freakish screech, that hurt Azure Mist's ears, but all she cared about was getting rid of this spite and tending to the wyngling.

The spite struggled against her strength, but she kept it pinned down, using her hind legs to scratch at it, until it died. She looked back at the child, whose eyes were open wide, fear laced in them as it witnessed her kill the spite. She looked back down at the dead spite, and then at the child.

"H-hey. It's okay. That...thing, it won't hurt you anymore, don't worry." Azure Mist said, carefully walking towards the wyngling, giving them time to run away if they wished, but the child stayed still. When she got close enough to them, she noticed the scratch on the child's arm. "Does that hurt? I can help, if that's okay?"

The wyngling looked at her, and then back to the Yittle, before nodding at her. She nodded back and walked close enough to the wyngling to be able to hold it's arm. She gathered in her paws a couple of leaves from the bushes around her, she beckoned the child to follow her to a cave opening that she saw.

"What's your name?" The child asked, limping as they walked with the dark blue wyngro. She looked down at them, before replying.

"I'm Azure Mist, but most just call me Misty. What about you kid?" She set everything down once they got in the cave opening, setting everything where she can easily grab for it when she needed them.

The child looked at Misty, and opened their mouth, only to close it quickly after. "I'm Jupiter, I'm sorry for getting you caught up with Yittle, and all that. I didn't mean for anything to happen and all that, I wasn't expecting one to come out and jump at me."

"Kid, it's okay, don't worry. It's not my first encounter with one of those things." She lifted her right leg, showing the scars that came with her last Yittle encounter.

"Was it scary? Did it hurt? What happened?" Jupiter asked many questions, only for Misty to give a soft laugh.

"It was scary, I was helping Ms. Alma with a lost egg. I was thinking I was gonna deal with some egg thief that was another gro. What I was not expecting was to not only find the egg, but also find my older sibling's necklace. They lost it when they were protecting me from a Yittle, when I was around your age. But right when I picked their necklace up...BOOM...out popped the Yittle. I jumped away as fast as I could, but the thing got my leg." She paused, gauging the child's reaction, only seeing piqued interest, she continued. "Initially there was little to no pain, the adrenaline pumping through my veins. But once everything settled, the amount of pain that I felt was far more intense than I could ever even try to explain."

"What happened after? what did you do?"

"Well, I got the egg safe an sound with Ms. Alma, and passed out." Misty looked a little awkward. "I don't really know what happened, or when it happened. But, Ms. Alma wrapped my leg in some bandages, and told me to go and see Dr. F, I dunno if you know him, but he's one of the best doctors in Wynsiph." She grabbed a couple of leaves from the pile, and put them upon her left cheek, where the spite scratched her. "Dr. F had healed my scratch on my leg, using some earth magic. He rebandaged my leg, and ever since then, I've had this scar." She looked at the wyngling's arm, thinking. "Your are shouldn't scar up though, it's not that deep of a gash, even if there is a lot of blood. Sometimes more blood comes out than the size of the wound. So you shouldn't have to worry about that."

"What about the scratches you got from the Yittle? Those look pretty deep." Jupiter pointed to Misty's cheek.

"Ah, don't worry about me kid, what matters is getting you better. It shouldn't be too hard, I've just gotta do what Dr. F did." Misty whispered the last bit to herself, grabbing a few more leaves, and inspecting them closely. She didn't want to give way that she's never actually done earth magic before, but it seemed as though Jupiter could tell.

"It's okay if you don't fully know how to do it, you just gotta go an do it." Jupiter tried to ease her nervousness.

"Ah...lemme just do it on myself first, I don't want to do it wrong and accidentally hurt you even more." She used the leaves that she grabbed before, and used a bit of magic to heal her scratch. She shocked herself when she felt the scratch starting to heal, she was doing it. She could do it to Jupiter and heal them without hurting them even more. "Okay let's go." First drawing of Azure Mist with her new colors, and I'm so happy with her colors now, I may possibly changed the shade of the colors, but for now these are her final colors (just gotta add some markings and soon she'll be her true form), but yes I'm very excited. Also I planned originally for her to learn water magic next...but ig earth magic it is.
