Description "Aaron, the entire pack is starving. Why can't I allow then to hunt?" Alejandra asked.

It had been two days since Aaron had stalked the teenager and his pack, especially Alejandra, had become restless. Aaron had forbidden any hunting trips without a reason. He thought that the reason had become clear.

"The local authorities are becoming involved since the hunts are happening closer to the city. If they are truly hungry then they may hunt as long as they stick to the forest," Aaron said finally giving in to Alejandra's whining.

She nodded and left him alone to his thoughts, eager to fill her starving stomach. Aaron was surprised with her behaviour, she never whined even when she was hungry.
I wonder what's gotten into her, Aaron thought to himself.

He shook his head trying to clear his thoughts. He couldn't waste time worrying about Alejandra right now when he had bigger problems to deal with. A sudden movement made Aaron spin around.

"Master Aaron, the police are here to ask you a few questions. Should I send them up?" Zane asked timidly.

"Yes send them in," he replied once again turning his back to the door.

A few minutes later the two police officers entered Aaron's chamber. Aaron offered them the two chairs infront of his desk and sat down himself.

"What can I do for you officers?" he asked calmly.

"Just wanted to ask you a couple questions Mr. Black. Somebody called in a tip that they saw you in the same area as one of the wolf attacks. Did you see anything that night?" one of the officers, who appeared to be in charge, asked while her partner pulled out a notebook.

"I remember seeing a woman sitting by the fountain alone. She was the same woman you showed on the news. I left shortly after she arrived," Aaron answered, his face as emotionless as the cold marble statues in his office.

"Are you sure you saw nothing else?" the officer pressed.

"Positive. Now, if you will excuse me officers, I have an appointment I must get to," Aaron said standing up.

The officers left and Aaron made a few phone calls.

All by himself the day turned into night. As the moon rose higher in the sky, Aaron's stomach began to rumble. Although he had told his pack to keep to the forest, he himself longed for the flesh of a human. If possible, he hoped to find the teen he had followed the other night.

"Aaron where are you going?" Alejandra asked entering the main hallway and seeing Aaron standing by the door.

"For a walk. Keep the pack in line until I return," he replied closing the door behind him.
