   The painful memory hit him again as he sat at the Ordon Spring, The place where he met Midna. "Why did she have to break the mirror?!" he asked himself. Link sighed, wondering if he would ever see her again. He didn't care whether she would be an imp or a beautiful queen...he liked her both ways. He looked up, remembering the red, then blue portal that used to hang above his head at the Ordon spring. "Maybe...just maybe." he said quietly to himself. Then he jumped up and used the horse call that Ilia gave him and waited for Epona to arrive. She came at a trot and he jumped on before she had even fully stopped.

   Epona slowed to a stop and Link jumped off. "Just in time..." he said, for the sun was about to set at the spirits spring near the forest by Ordon. "Oh please, Midna, please..." he pleaded, turning over the shard that so helpfully let him turn into a wolf when need be with Midna around. Link sat down, letting the water lap past him to some of the ferns behind.

   Twilight hit the spring, making the water sparkle. The trees rustled. "Please... please, please, please..."he thought. A familiar sound reached his ears. He couldn't remember what made the noise, for he had not heard it in so long. He automatically looked up and saw a blue portal opening, the kind he had used with Midna. "Is my mind playing tricks on me?" he asked aloud. Then, three creatures fell from the portal.
