Description
Yay more Pokemon fancharacters, some oldies that were redesigned, and some new faces in general.
First up is my first-ever shiny female Bisharp Yiesha , given a design overhaul so that she looks more like a guard and a genuinely tough warrior rather than an assassin like she used to be. I’ve got several characters that fill that role as is. I like the little liberties I took with Bisharp features.
Katherine, the Mewtwo, is a sales associate, working with wireless communications (phones) as well as other interactive multimedia technologies such as tablets and computers. She’s very knowledgeable, which is a boon for sales and keeping customers informed, but due to her past of being a former criminal (now turning a new leaf), she has violent and snappish slips when her nerves/patience are tried. Numerous sessions of rehabilitation have only done so much, hence why she is often accompanied by her friend Calix to keep her from tearing anyone apart. Very unwise to be all up in her face and shouting.
Calix, the Deoxys, is Katherine's old friend and fellow co-worker. He works with surveillance, using his high speed and intelligence to spot and stop thievery of their company’s products to ensure solid profit. He’s a fairly pacifistic guy, preferring to stop robbers and vandals without harm and instead keeps them still long enough using his psychic powers to report to police. Voice of reason and unyielding, he’s a valued member of the staff, and is an old friend of the Mewtwo, who he watches after for… reasons. And in case you're wondering, yes, those two holes up there above his eyes are another set of eyes, not eyebrows, just lacking irises. It's meant to be an odd, creepy (and useless) mutation
Then there’s a quirky fun-loving genie Dusknoir named Azhar, based on… well, you guessed it. I actually designed this guy -months- back, days before the sad news of Robin Williams, which is why I held off on showing him anywhere for a while. ;; I do like the idea of a genie Dusknoir in general though, and I blame one of my buddies for giving me this idea, ahh… maybe I’ll change his personality a bit, we’ll see.
Then there's Aaliyah a shiny female Medicham. I have plans for her for one of my blogs but that's meant to be secret ; All I am willing to share is that she's tougher than her calm expression implies, and she has a close history with Zabrina.
Then there’s Shayla , another oldie with a redesign. Now she has a more mystic look, and her Cofagrigus traits are much more pronounced. I’m quite fond of how she looks here. Less rugged, more mystical and foreign-looking, and has pleasing colors.
Up next is Malcolm, a black and white fancy and star performer Mr. Mime. Prim, proper yet funny and very lively, he's known for his sharp wit and humorous performances, as well as top-notch acting skills. He can even mimic voices for outstanding impressions. Like with Aaliyah, I have plans for him, so I'll keep quiet about him for the time being ;
And last but not least… ahh, Jessamine, sweet, sorrowful little Jessamine . Wanted to give her more of a weary and worn look to go with her personality. Plus, wanted to emphasize her Poison Point ability. Poor li’l miserable bouquet…
... and yep, that's it! Here ya go.
Pokemon belongs to Nintendo and Game Freak

Your designs might just work with . If you've got a thing for history, I hope you'll give the group a shot. :3
You'll have to talk with the other admins about your shiny colors and/or personal touches(sadly you have to stick with the in-game mechanics so no female Gallade), but personally I think they add a unique style.

Agh More Jessie!
Poor lil' girl. If I had poison immunity I'd give the poor girl a hug.
Might have to get old Rosethorn to do that for me.

Your character designs are always fantastic! It took me a bit to guess the species of a few of them, but when I did I was immediately like "OH THAT'S COOL." The Mr. Mime in particular is awesome because I never see fancharacters of those, and the design is really different while still being recognizable as the Pokemon. Really like the one above that too--she's an interesting cross, and I like how you showed both traits.
And the Dusknoir made me laugh. XD
Just wondering, though--how do you explain the Mewtwo there? I always figured Mewtwo would be a one-of-a-kind deal rather than a species, though I think I've seen it explained in other fanstuff before.

Well see in my... well, "universe," or version of the Pokemon world, there can be multiples of certain Legendaries so long as there are believable variables. Since Mewtwo (as a species) is a lab experiment, I figured that the scientists spent many more years researching and preparing to make sure it went with little hitches as possible and had a much bigger budget, big enough to afford making more than one just in case the earlier attempts failed, and had superior methods with keeping them contained. Also, each successful Mewtwo (not many of them mind you) had some slightly unique modifications and traits to help tell them apart from the others. Kath's one of them that got away and has had a bad rep during her escape, with her paler and bluer colorscheme hinting she might have been meant to be used in cooler or high-altitude environments. Whereas with Calix, if Deoxys is created from mutated DNA, and all DNA has differing strands, then individual Deoxys species members would wind up looking different from one another too. And since DNA can be prone to certain feature-affecting mutations, even minor ones, I felt like expressing that a bit with Calix, particularly how his face is set up. Stuff like that, y'know?
There are some Pokemon in the "Pokeverse" that my characters come from that I don't think can be made multiples of though, like the Creation Trio and Arceus. A bit too difficult to believe there are numerous versions of the avatars of time, space, antimatter and creation themselves, aye? Unless we want to bring alternate universes into the idea, but that's another discussion that I'd rather not ramble about. xD;
And yes, I'm sad that there are practically no Mr. Mime fancharacters at all, as I think it's a Pokemon that could have a ton of fun potential! So I took it and ran with it with Malcolm, and, well... I can tell I'll be having fun depicting him! Muhuhuhuh~
Still, thank you! I'm glad you like my designs! I should really design more OCs though, aheh, I just can't break away from Pokemon... OTL I'm so lame.

Ah, okay! That makes sense. That's sorta how I wrote the backstory for an old Mew fancharacter of mine--he was part of some post-Mewtwo experiments where they tried to make another almost-Mew-clone that was more tame.
Hah, there's no harm in making fancharacters. It's fun and you can still push your creativity with it, as you've done here.
